And as long as the French, the Germans and everyone else in the world is dumb enough to take our IOU's, they're still one notch below us in the food chain, capiche? It's WAY too late in the game for Pax Americana, the real threat to Homeland Security is economic, not terroristic! And the glide path is straight DOWN! Or as Doug Noland so elegantly puts it, we're in the terminal stage of Bubble Excess, this war is all about "economics by other means", to cop a phrase from Machiavelli. Folks in the 40's and 50's used to hate the US because we were self-righteous. Then later (the Roaring '90's), they hated us because we were rich. Next they'll hate US because we owe 'em money but instead will be paying back with gobs of meaningless green $hit......I believe Bernanke's in line to be the next Chairman of the Fed, HO HO HO, that's what the mobs in Rome, Paris and London should REALLY be protesting!<NFG>
