I assume they're not purposely faking the Saddam photo but who knows for sure. I anycase, the contrast in world sentiment seems as real as can be and I can't help but wonder why we've seemingly painted ourselves into this corner. I really thought Powell would be the big-time statesman who could carry the day but now even he seems marginalized and pigeon-holed as a hard-liner. I just don't get it, BWTFDIK?
