Great volumes of truth to that post.
For "average " investors debating averages
Far too many success stories are remembered, and losers are soon forgotten
But the betting public will disregard the truths, and continue to play the equities game despite the odds.
So again success requires either timing (buy in 1996, sell in 2000) Get out before September each year, etc
Or exquisite selectivity
Or trading
