"Extortion": What REFR accuses Asensio of is extortion... until the topic is breached of why REFR never tried to press charges against Asensio. Then it suddenly becomes "REFR never accused Asensio of extortion." Or, alternatively, and most humorously, "REFR reported the extortion to the proper authorities: the SEC and the NASD."

"Manipulation": see "Selling"

"Naked Short Selling": here the looseness is not so much in the definition as it is in the legality of it. To listen to you we're days away from seeing the FBI raid Canadian brokerages.

"Misinformation": Anything negative about REFR, or anything else Ms. Dixon disagrees with...

Because it is a criminal offense. They turned the information over to regulators. The government brings criminal action not the companies. As in the case with Elgindy, these things take time.
