Clueless herd member eats humble pie
We were wrong about the short term POG and the HUI. You guys have been on the money for now at least.

Luckily many of us clueless ones were in a beyond the HUI zone.

My accounts have actually gone up in the past weeks.
Perhaps due to serendipity and some blind luck perhaps.
My portfolios are loaded with BAY SWG RDU which have been climbing more than enough to make up for the others. My largest position CKG has been steady.
The small positions I have in some HUI type stocks (GLG PAAS SSRI) have not really tanked too badly.
Admittedly all very risky-but doing well to date-despite the POG tanking.

So, so far we are actually alive and well:

<They are wonderful contrary indicators. But these clowns can get a tad testy and vindictive when we have the temerity to remind them they've been left holding the bag vs the few of us who sold into yet another significant top.>

Maybe we get a little testy but we are not alone.

<They DON'T learn from their mistakes and improve. A major reason is their egos are too insecure to ADMIT their mistakes in the first place!! Instead they live in denial, making lame excuses for their under performance. OR, they try to escape their failures by bitching and taking cheap shots at the few who consistently win in this biz.>

Failures? We are making money.

Cheap shots? I mean but excuse me.

Consistently win? I remember how great SWC was supposed to be at around 15 (as a I recall) and I remember nobody wanted to admit one's mistake (a common human frailty).

Well I have stayed away from this tread because I hate pissing contests.

I do think it is time to smoke the old cyberspace peace pipe.

I hope everybody can learn to talk again without violating what I feel should be the number one principle:

<This thread is now moderated to limit personal attacks>
I wish everybody would take the time to reread Frank's preamble.

Isopatch I would only like to say that everyone of us has a lot to learn both on the financial and personal levels. I do not believe any great man ever has to resort to being condescending or pompous. I also believe that Frank is the moderator here not you. I really do not think you have the right to tell anybody how they should behave or talk.

If you guys do not want to hear our bullish opinions or hear what we are doing with our Canadian miners, no problem. There is life beyond SDII.

I think however that somehow we all lose.

I will continue to read your and Slider's posts because yes
I have a lot to learn.

For the first time in a while, I'm "itchin" to start taking some positions in the gold stocks, but as usual, it will be a bit difficult to pick the exact bottom, so I'm trying to be very patient, which I admit is a bit hard for the old Yogizuna....
