I see I was not alone in standing back & spending some quality time with friends & family lately. If you read my rant a few posts ago, you know how I feel. One thing I can say about face to face time with those you know. At least they will tend to listen & they are less inclined to dismiss stuff from someone they know & trust. I know that my mom & my Aunt have been particularly concerned lately. They live together & spend most of the day in front of the TV. Although they have good reason to be concerned, they have been subjected to the hype, bias & mass hysteria that seems to be what the news & politics are all about these days. Their concern had them nearly paralyzed. Even though I call them frequently, I've only made time to stop by on the weekends lately. Since I took time out to visit them more, I got to see & hear their fears (mom said she didn't want to worry me when I called because she thought I was so busy). Sheesh! "We may not be able to change the whole world the way we'd each like, but we can definitely have a positive effect on our families." You couldn't have said it better jpg. Tim
