Turkey is reportedly now requesting $50b for their "loyalty".

This reminds me of the change orders that come up during construction. The change order itself is often justified due to the fact that the "site conditions" are different than what was anticipated on the plans. But more often than not, the cost of the change order is ridiculously high because the contractor knows he can get away with it. It'd cost far more in the long run to hire someone else to do the 'extra' work, so he has the owner over the proverbial barrel.

Some changer order! With a change order that big, the lender would have shut the project down, thrown the general off the site, and tried desperately to figure out what happened.

Does that mean we can impeach Bush? <g>
