This order is for additional deliveries associated with the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity ("IDIQ") contract originally awarded to Miltope in May of 2001. ADVERTISEMENT This production order calls for delivery in excess of 1,500 MSD rugged laptop systems, which are based on the Miltope Model TSC-750 rugged laptop computer. The TSC-750 is unique in that it is qualified to the stringent requirements of Military Specifications such as MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461. This allows the Miltope computer system to be utilized in military forward areas where operation under any and all environmental conditions is encountered.
