I hate to belabor the obvious, but it is possible to disagree with current administration policy without "hating America". Maybe not within the capacious minds of the Right, but elsewhere, it's not that big a deal.

Extremely well said, Win.

<it is possible to disagree with current administration policy without "hating America">

Whenever you are asking a nation's army to go to war, you are asking people to risk death for the benefit of others. That's a hard thing to do. Inevitably, you get this "rally round the flag" movement, to sweep everyone up into the Group Solidarity, get everyone Lined Up Together. Anyone who shows any reluctance, any hesitation, to go with the herd as it stampedes, gets shouted down or trampled.

I strongly agree with the current Administration's goals (win the war on terrorism), and I strongly disagree with the tactics and mindset they are using to reach that goal (unilateralism, Stick with no Carrot, demonizing our enemies). That position is way too subtle for a lot of people to understand.
