Sergio,

I think its a good idea to have some type of in general rule for adding a stock. I have added a one week waiting period before we add them as an official part of the portfolio statistics. I also think there should be some thought behind the weeding out of stocks at the end of the month.

Sergio & Joe:

How about weeding out the ones that dip more than 10 or 15% from the entry price and moving them to an AYEEE thread to see if they show any sign of recovering? (You would have to put the $$ amount of the sale back into the portfolio to keep track of the overall % change, but I don't know how to do that.<g>)

It seems that it is always good to keep some mental stop-loss in place.<g>
