Robert, here's what's wrong with your logic. For every terrorist that Israel hunts down, there are about 60 ready to take over. For every Israeli killed by a terrorist attack, a retaliation by Israelis would have to kill several hundred Muslims even to retain the current ratio of the two populations.

And of course, if Israel continues to hunt them down, one by one, it will be possible only with continued foreign aid from the U.S. Israel for several years has been the largest recipient of foreign aid, and yet their policies, judged on the basis of results, do not result in peace or even in improvements in the situation. It's been like this for years, and as an active investor I'm wondering when the U.S. is going to say, "Enough, this investment simply isn't working. It's time to cut our losses." Like I have said earlier, it's too bad that Sharon continues this instransigent policy that doesn't work and that creates even more incentive for worldwide terrorism.
