How about they are hardly telling you everything they know? Even if you were in the Company. And the Company is only one intelligence organization operated by the US gov't.

Then there is a little matter of compartmentalization. Have you heard of that?

If you think that my views are out of the mainstream, then all I can say is your own viewpoint is at odds with that of many seasoned diplomats, who continue to believe that a war would not be necessary if the administration was willing to trust those who have the necessary skills to handle this issue in a peaceful manner.
You mean like the seasoned diplomat so many on this thread have accused of giving Saddam a green light to attack Kuwait?

The mandarins always think they are smarter and better qualified than the emperor, don't they?
