Bush, and you, would lose that argument in a fair court. UN Resolution 1441 is no provision for war. The operative of that resolution is for inspections to continue with reports back to the council and failing satisfactory results there could be serious consequences. In no way do "serious consequences" mean there is an opening door for the US to wage war. What the US wanted, more than anything, when it got its 1441 vote was for everyone to get on board, including Syria. If 1441 was meant as a war vehicle, it would ot have been approved by all 15 members of the Security Council. This is clear.
