I think the point is that there is no need for Western civilization to do it to itself by igniting a ME conflagration. The fallacy (intellectual dishonesty) spewed by the neo-cons is that those opposed to war support and embrace Saddam. That is silliness. Anti-war types IMO agree that dangerous situations should be controlled and neutralized. The difference is we have the war solution types versus the containment types. Essentially they want the same thing, its the plan for dealing with the danger that makes the two camps. In between are all us noisy neanderthal Type A personalities beating each other on the heads saying " MY PLAN IS BEST".
