think the Iraqis don't want to be liberated

It reminds me of Cuba, there are those who want to flee and those who want to stage a revolution, but the majority just seem to want to get their life back together. The warmongers seem to think there is only two alternatives, War Now, or do nothing and let Saddam conquer the world.

E.T., simply put, the war could widen throughout the region and into other regions. Is this a worthwhile risk based on speculation, nothing proven, that something might be there?

what I don't understand is why the antiwarniks think the Iraqis don't want to be liberated.

They want to be liberated. They just don't want to be "liberated" by us.

BTW, the administration isn't all that sure either ...

WHO CARES what the poor little Iraqis want??? You should be asking yourself if this war is in the interest of YOUR COUNTRY and YOUR NATIONALS.

It is NOT. It is in the interest of US oil corporations. It is in the interest of Bush and his oil friends. It is NOT in the interests of Americans or the US of A.

"Antiwarnicks", indeed....

Really, E.T., you have to read a bit about political history, geopolitics, etc. Phone home or something. But PLEASE stop with this "poor little Iraqis and their women with their ankles and faces showing" ballad, while there are massive international plays going on around you that concern strategic geopolitical and economic affairs of your country, not to mention the safety and future of everyone you know and love.
