C2, Containment will work if 150,000 american soldiers sit on iraq borders forever. Then we could put 150k american troops on the korean border and so on. Of course the french and germans could participate in iraq and the Russians, chinese and Japanese in Korea. Like you said C2, containment is not the issue. The issue is dealing with Saddam now or dealing with him later, after the fact. Perhaps the hope is if he dies a new regime may do a 180. Not likely with his evil sons in control. mike
