I think the global opposition to the war is telling; you think that it doesn't matter

The "global opposition" is insignificant in number. A couple million people worldwide, motivated by every cause from gun control to abortion, organized by ANSWER International (which really says it all), most of whom are totally ignorant of the underlying rationale, and most of whom would protest watermelon if given a chance.

You like to think that, wouldn't you? Does it make you feel all superior, all knowing. Lets check back in two years and see how things look then.

Further, any president who would give EVEN THE SLIGHTEST consideration to such protests would be grossly incompetent. The same is true of cow-towing to the French who are acting out of their own financial interests.

Yes, it might be a sign of weakness to be a consensus builder instead of a divider. Your president saw the marches on Saturday as focus groups. Its hilarious.....the former cheerleader doesn't even know what a focus group is.

And to consult with our allies and get their opinions.....why that's foreign diplomacy.....your man is way to important for that crap, isn't he? Who needs allies when you've got Iraqi oil money to play with, huh!
