I think the will get their way: Bush will find a face-saving way out in the face of all the protests. And then we get the consequences. If they liked 911, they'll LOVE what's coming. The other possibility is that BUsh, seeing support eroding because of their continuing howling, will strike quickly, as soon as possible, probably with 2-3 weeks. And the war will be on without proper US preparation. And their stupidity will have been the cause of it.
