A bit like UncleWest going on about Karen being a "mouthy broad" when he disagreed with her. Hawkmoon has similar [but much more polite] approaches. We could play spot the soldier using the technique. They have those silly chants as they jog along in a troup for example. Why not just jog? Talking and running don't go well together. Also, it makes a lot of stupid noise, apparently of a foul-mouthed kind, which shows moronic mindset. It also prevents thinking and reduces awareness, [thinking is always good and so is awareness], a bit like driving while using a cellphone moves a chunk of mind off the traffic. The 'mouthy broad' and 'not when you serve in my troup' etc is an attempt to form a dominance hierarchy and be placed well up that hierarchy. Preferably right at the top. It doesn't work well in cyberspace, where people aren't in a military unit [though Faultline enjoys his megalomaniac position and tries to cow the crowd - giggle]. The military dominance hierarchy mindset expressed in such comments shows exactly why We the Sheople don't want to have military people running our lives. To be successful in attacking and defeating enemy forces, a high level of dominance mindset would be needed, after all, they have to defeat them psychologically, either with our without weapon firing. That mindset, when applied to a co-operative democratic process is frustrated. Military coups are popular where democratic processes aren't strong. We the Sheeple want a flat social structure, not a dog eat dog eat sheep wolf pack style from Top Dog to tail between legs bottom of the pecking order who harries and kills sheep. Sure, we want leaders, but leaders who express our will, not theirs. We want to turf the rogues out when they get overly enthusiastic about their own importance. There are eternal battles going on - territoriality, dominance and pecking order, tribalism and wearing the boss's hat. If our tribe doesn't have the best military mindset, we'll be in big trouble. There's always somebody wanting to take over. Like so much in nature, a good thing can get over-exaggerated and become a liability [like sickle cells are great for stopping malaria, but fatal in double doses]. Over-endowment with military mindset leads to Tim McVeigh warrior defence of freedom, murder of wives at Fort Bragg nailprints.org and Lt William Calley. I suppose though that they are under-endowed with military mindset of the best kind - being limited to the violent aggression to achieve dominance, but without the mindful ethical foundation which is found in top Samurai types. Thoughts for today. Over and out, Me. PS: If any of the military types could explain the silly chanting we hear, when out for a jog, it would be appreciated. Maybe it's just in movies and tv ads that they do it. I haven't seen it for real, with my own eyes.
