Our troops will be in Iraq ten years from now -- and democracy, if it ever comes to Iraq, will be preceded by a very long period of time where the "Government" of Iraq will be a puppet of Washington. We will decide who will run the oil fields and American companies will be first in line for contracts. We will decide how much oil is pumped -- and yes, we will control the world price of oil. We will decide what is done with the money. It will be Washington calling all the shots -- anybody who says otherwise is a liar or a fool.
