What if all of the foritifcation work they're now doing in Baghdad ends up becoming a source of pride, and they'll wanna slug it out? Have you forgotten the "Allah, willing" thing? If you were an Iraqi soldier who believed in Allah and knew Iraq to be your homeland, and feared your family might be murdered or raped by an invading army, would you surrender? What background do these folks have to judge the Americans coming in? Their test case is the Highway of Death were it's estimated a 100,000 were slaughtered. What gives you the confidence that this guy's gonna give up and ask for a candy bar?
