Ignore them and hope they'll go away? Get the cooperation of your most important allies; the rest would have followed. People on this thread say I hate GW. What I hate is stupidity. Had Bush played his cards right and started consulting with France and Germany last summer and got them on board, we wouldn't be paying Turkey to help us right now.<How can you live with yourself supporting these people?> As usual, you accuse me of things that you yourself are guilty of. Arrogance, high-mindedness, and now supporting terrorists. You're on a roll today, Ted. Excuse me.........if I told you how to make silicon, I think your reaction would be pretty much the same. This is my field.......my background from school.....I know it well. I won't even honor your comment about my supporting terrorists. What I don't support is pissing away my money because someone is too lazy and/or to arrogant to deal with other countries. What I don't support is going after Iraq when we have bigger fish to fry. What I don't support is a president who got into office on questionable terms and that spends his first two years alienating even further the people who didn't vote for him. What I don't support is a president who is so obsessed with war that he doesn't spend nearly enough time on domestic issues like the economy which is languishing badly. And when he finally does take a look, all he can come with are tax cuts and further ways to undermine environmental laws. Like I've said before, we're going backwards, not forwards. And the worst part about it is that if 9/11 hadn't happened, we wouldn't be having this conversation. So don't be telling that I am arrogant or high minded or dishonorable because you don't like what I am saying. I know when things are working and when they are not. And they are not working big time.....and the buck stops with the president! ted
