So in other words we should keep buyer larger cars which consume more gas, clog our streets and parking areas?

I guess that is one way to look at it. But right now I am not thinking so globally. When cars commonly zoom by at 80 mph in a 55 mph zone, zigging and zagging right in front of you (or behind you), local thought becomes the ticket for me. I have a car, a beamer in fact. I'd love to keep it. But I am about to replace it with something. I thought to buy a Jaguar Turbo Vanden Plas, but for a number of reasons I have nixed that idea. I'm not a big SUV guy, but what else can one do?
