Dear Kenneth: Well, cant blame em for trying to get all they can. Just wish they had started all this tom foolery sooner. One thing I DONT want to see happen is for the TURKS to come out of this with a bad feeling for USA. Hopefully a fair agreement will be worked out. I still dont understand why we cant give them some kind of trade GUARANTEES. Surely they got SOMETHING we can import?? JDN

Bush's greatest fear is that he will accidently do something smart and raise expectations. He's taking extra precautions these days that no trace of intelligence appears to come from the White House.
