Paul, China may not be up to the task i am afraid. They dont see the larger picture of robust economic development being based on peace and order. They dont understand capitalism enough. Japanese may believe this as well as they contemplate going nuclear or preemption. South Korea too may not believe in china--outgoing pm talked of a SK nuke arsenal as well. Will the NK preempt Japan and SK development? Or has US already slipped Japan a few nukes which will be announced shortly by japan perhaps as an arsenal they developed? Same with SK?? Jacob is right though--the North is like a wounded animal. Mike
