No, I don't honor Chirac. As I've said in previous posts, I think France's policy is short-sighted and cynical. Their true interests lie firmly on our side in the War.

But, I also don't honor Bush. I think he has squandered the intense world-wide sympathy the U.S. had after 9/11. He's done it by unilateralism, an unwillingness to compromise, and choosing the wrong target in the War.

Remember Blair standing up at the EU dinner the other night, looking each leader in the eye and saying "All you intelligence agencies know what WMD Saddam has".

Doesn't this JUST say it all?

Interesting as well that Blair announced with the notice that Britons leave Iraq....the reminder that in 1991, Iraq took the remaining citizens from other countries, and kept them. Blair also reminded his people and the world, that there would be no Embassy or others to turn to.....
