mimic For me it was a whole world. The first step was as I described in the previous post - when she first realizes that there is another being out there that she can "communicate" with. Then as I said "the games begin". First you're imitating her, but very soon she'll imitate you. This can spiral into incredibly complex "games" of reciprocal imitation - to the delight of both. Clearly mentally stimulating, and long before speech. One of those situations where you receive proportionate to what you invest. lurqer
