Re Kyoto: Why did you put OT? You're right, I can't entirely blame the Bush Administration. We could get into an endless debate about the merits of the treaty, and whether we should have accepted it anyway, warts and all. I'm not going there. But it is indisputable, that Europe accepted the treaty and we didn't, and that the Bush Administration is far less eco-friendly than the Europeans would like. And that it was a big source of U.S.-Europe strain, pre-and-post 9/11.
