I have made a list of stocks and would appreciate any input... i based the list on the following: 1. unencumberd production (i.e. no hedge) 2. optionable (i.e. cc strategy plus a degree of protection against periodic retracements) any comments would be appreciated.... in addition, if anyone know the components of the Schultz Gold Index (which are mining companies which are NOT hedged ) please post them... Good idea, Kinross is in the HUI, it should be in the XAU ... bigger than Apex, Goldcorp, Meridian or Agnico Bob, what was that change you encouraged last year? ... i remember that happening, just can't recall what you got them to replace with what Kinross put out a release today, pro forma 2002 production and cash cost estimates for the various operations ... sure points out how important Fort Knox is to them .... Kubaka though, for all that russian political risk, they say they have there a cc of 133, ahem I don't think it's rocket stock .... just a conveniently liquid way in which a person can satisfy the compulsion to keep pushing the little buy and sell buttons .... i was never impressed with tvx, used to consider it lumped in a bunch with Greenstone ... but, clearly they saw something of value in its assets, and they're smart folk imho
