What I would have liked to have seen is all the major players in the world unite and over time, clean up one country after another using the threat of force. It could have been a brilliant strategy and once you were successful with the first couple of tyrants, probably the rest could have been knocked over with a feather. It would have had the added bonus of forcing out some of al Qaeda from their hiding places. Ah... that's exactly what I've been trying to say, except it feels to me as if, yes, the Bushies are a bit too eager, but the Europeans are the ones being obstructionist, and that's where it's all gone so wrong. I think this really is the point we disagree on. I got to tell you, I getting real tired of hearing that the Europeans are obstructionists. Not only was Bush over eager but he was unwilling to consult with our allies before he began to beat the war drums last summer. Had he done so, this fiasco of a mess would never have developed. France and Germany wanted to meet and come to a consensus with Bush, but instead Bush sent Blair and Rumsfield in to do the job and they failed.... the whatever is so into his ego, he blew it. Sorry but it couldn't have happened to a worse asshole. Unfortunately, he is the leader of this country and we will all pay for his ineptitude. Last summer, I couldn't believe the way Bushie was acting and said so, and predicted this would all blow up. And for the many months since then, all I have had to listen to was the jerkoff from Arkansas wax on about how masterful Bush is..........frankly, whatever he's smoking I want some. ;~)) ted
