So all recessions happen during Republican administrations, but they're the fault of the Democrats, and all the good times happen during the Democratic administrations, but they're due to the Republicans. Makes sense.

This isn't true. During the Reagan years, the economy surged. It wasn't Reagan's responsibility. It was about business cycles. During Carter's administration, the economy was HORRIBLE. It wasn't Carter's fault. It just happened.

While presidents can affect the economy on the margins, there is relatively little influence he can have.

I noted you opted not to explain what it is Clinton did to bring about the great economy of the LATE 90s.

I also recognized that the economic boom was a result of factors that had nothing to do with Clinton. Just as the Bush 41 recession was not about Bush. And the Bush 43 recession is not about Bush.

So all recessions happen during Republican administrations, but they're the fault of the Democrats, and all the good times happen during the Democratic administrations, but they're due to the Republicans. Makes sense.

And he knows for sure the earth is flat 'cause when he looks out the window, it sure looks that way!
