I talk to my neighbors.... They are all talking about Business being down. I asked them what they thought about the gathering storm.

They said that they were used to changes in the weather.

I said, " I am talking about the darkness!"

Looking back at me like I must be crazed they just tilted their heads wondering what I was talking about. Americans are not stupid if that is what you think I am stating. I am trying to say that they just are lulled into a deep sleep.

But I am noticing some around me that are beginning to feel and see regarding the state of the world.

Iraq is just another symptom of the disease. It can bounce from border to border. Wars and rumors of wars.

Evil only can flourish if good people do nothing. Stated by Helen Caldicott. Take the opportunity to listen to an hour of her if you have the chance.

You are a bit right about us. We have let ourselves be led into beliefs that we have forgotten to believe in.....

No one to blame except ourselves. No one can fix it but us.

May we find the strength to bring out the light from darkness.

May we walk toward it.

There are other ways to lead other than policies of destruction. It takes a humble man.
