Shoot, they love him so much they may just have done that. The point is the right thing to do is the right thing to do, and he didn't do it because of polls etc. That is why he was a weak president. He was not a "leader" at all...only a follower.

Are you kidding? Hell, Clinton went to war with Kosovo, where neither the level of human rights violations nor the national security threat compared with that presented by Iraq. This "revolt" is totally politically motivated.

That said, even a Republican could have more easily gone to war against Iraq 5 years ago when Iraq first began to refuse access to inspectors. But after it was let go for five years, complacency set in.
