Korea is definitely a problem. I'm less worried about China, because they are actually playing to win. China knows that money will solve many of its problems and must play by western rules to the extent that it wants to grow its fortunes. It is a shame that economic contractions are pending, that will make it tough for China to stay the course on its recent attempts at economic reform. If the pressure on China's peasant and worker classes is not relieved, the country may do a timewarp back to the 30's (Mao 2.0).

North Korea is much more unpredictable. In not making a big deal about this right now, either Washington is trying to spread out problems so they can deal with them one at a time, or even better, they have more of a handle on what N. Korea really wants than we can see, and they are less worried. Some say this is a gambit to get taken more seriously by the major world powers. I hope so, as that is a solvable problem.

India/Pakistan is a problem too. they have the technology, they want to be bigtime, but they are late to the table and noone wants to make room. Heck, there's not even enough room for France and Germany! India's connections into US high tech industry make them easier to work with. Pakistan's inability to project their nukes makes them less of a threat.

So one oldtimer trying to fix its problems and 3 small-fry trying to prove something. I am definitely more scared of the latter.
