I have been think about that. Leaving someone else's fingerprint at a scene is very difficult. Technically possible, but not very easy. Leaving someone else's DNA at the scene should not be too hard. A scraping from your skin, saliva, etc, could be got from you on the sly and left by someone else. The way things are with DNA in the courts right now, no one would believe you.
