You can have stagflation (economy, consumer/producer prices) and deflation (asset prices) simultaneously...

I'd rather have the late 90's back (g)- high growth, low inflation/deflation in some areas....of course, that was just one giant credit card in which the bills kept getting sent to the wrong address.

These freakin' late fees are adding up ng

Ain’t I glad I don’t understand ANY of this… -ng. When prices deflate, it doesn’t pay to invest in any business, since by the time you’re done investing, all your revenue projections are kaput, and so is your business. Things must crash before they can start again. Inflation is trickier... we've seen a nice case re: financial assets... and stagflation – forgedaboudit.
