Do you have Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, VW, Bentley, Lambourghini and similar auto's on your list? They are all German cars; French cars aren't worth the paper they are made of, except for Nissan, which they bought a few years ago from the Japanese who insisted on making cars out of metal.

I heard today that our trade with France is about $50 billion/year, of which we come out ahead by $14 billion. They buy about $32B from us and we spend $18B with them, mostly tourism. Wine and cheese aren't that big a factor; our home grown stuff is better and sells tons more than theirs.

Chas (really pissed that I have to give up Frog Legs and Kraut and Beer for breakfast (but I'm a Patriot and will do what is necessary).
