Ben. There’s been several stories coming out of Cannes this week relative to the use of EDGE in Europe. Dr. I. J. has not commented favorably regarding the attributes of EDGE nor has Qualcomm indicated that any of their chips will incorporate EDGE. Do you think some of this European talk of using EDGE could be a ploy in attempt the get Qualcomm to divert some of its engineering design talent to work on EDGE in hopes of slowing down it’s progress on CDMA/WCDMA and dual mode GSM/ GPRS chipsets ? It appears that Qualcomm’s first to market lead in many areas continues to increase leaving the traditional GSM vendors in a world of hurt. Thanks for your time- Jim
