OK, we're in a downward correction (hours long) of an upward correction (days long) of a downward correction (weeks long) of an upward correction (months long) of the thing that really counts - the long-term (years long) secular bear. (got fractals? <g>)

Wake me up when we get out of the wiggles, ie volume picks up and price movement becomes impulsive... <g> and <ng>

Seriously, I do think one can waste a lot of time trying to figure things out when price is just "ringing" like the underdamped control system that it is. WAIT FOR THE IMPULSES. Wait for the tide to flow. For me, Elliot tells the potential shape of the price response to a liquidity stimulus. You're trying to view the tidal flow without the choppy waves on top clouding the picture. There is no tide flow right now.

Yes, I see the up move off Thursday's low as corrective - only two distinct pushes, but the down has been even more sluggish, on even lower volume. Is today's move impulsive? I don't think so. Show me some volume. Show me synchronization of the indicies. The pattern may be there, but many things are missing.
