Rumsfeld will be disposing of a good number of munitions by the end of March. Hopefully the inspectors will give him 12 years to disarm after that show of good faith - as they have given Sadaam! Are you saying you could have caught Bin Laden sooner?

If I were in the CIA and I knew were OBL was, I'd watch him not catch him. He would just be replaced so it doesn't matter as long as he is tracked. OBL makes so many miscalculations that if someone replaced they might be smarter. Also this way, one knows the networks already to catch any chatter. This approach is definitely done. Canada watched a cell for a long time. Several cells were monitored for a long time before any arrests were made. If you want to be really cynical, the president could wait to pick up that ace, once attack on Iraq begins, or maybe right before the next election.
