I recently read a quote from an Arab stating that if the Arabs (or maybe he said Muslims?) develop nuclear weapons, it would be their religious duty to use them to destroy Israel, despite the fact that there would be collateral damage to Muslims.

The Iranian ex-President, Rafsanjani, said that about a year ago.
