Sen. Byrd is working on his 3rd Billion in PORK spending.
He is the undisputed KING of PORK spending. I've seen a
number of his PORK projects up close & personal. Talk about
a total waste of taxpayer money :-( Well, it did line the
pockets of his cronies in WV, who in turn help keep him in
office, so I guess it wasn't a complete waste to Sen. Byrd
& CO.

Most government waste occurs in the military. Get rid of our 150+ military bases around the world, and we could easily balance the budget. People around the world would hate us less - a nice bonus.
