Many brutal South and Central American dictators were graduates of the School of the AMericas. I suppose their actions were justified because they were military men? Noreiga and Pinochet were two. There are many more. The website lists the most famous graduates.

Torture and terror is not excused by anyone for any reason anywhere on earth.

The violence in Latin America occurs primarily because the U.S. sponsors it. When faced with an excellent example of that, you try to shift the blame from the terrorists (the U.S. and its mercenaries) to their society. Then you have the gall to accuse Patricia of "blaming society for violent crime" and "forgiving the terrorists". Amazing!
