I think that for a multi-ethnic democracy to be viable long-term, it is probably not healthy for the media (the primary vehicle by which the populace understands political / military /economic issues) to be dominated by one minority. If that minority is only about 3% of the population, that makes it all the less likely that the media is going to truly support the needs of the broader and more varied populace. In addition, if that minority maintains close links to a foreign nation, there are clear risks that the media influence may be utilized to benefit that foriegn nation....... Warm regards, THC
