the US troops and tanks have to disembark in Israel

Great, imagine the footage of US troops marching through Jerusalem on the way to Iraq. Shudder.

They probably disembarked at Haifa and other strategic ports in Israel and worked their way though Jordan avoiding the West Bank. Imo, Jordan is currently a huge tank park along with Kuwait.

Or would the US troops and tanks have to disembark in Israel and traverse the West Bank to get into Jordan?

Jordan does have a port on its southern tip of the Red sea: Aqaba. Simply turn left after you paid the Suez canal fees and unload what you need; just like a huge US military freighter is doing right now, (no name needed) and for the second time this month (that's why no name), right in front of my Pearl optics.
And this time, the Patriots have legs and wheels, not only wings.
