Nits, I just saw one of the most impressive athletic performances I've ever seen. On Beamer's website, there is a video clip of KJ and sophomore DeAngelo Hall (a CB build like Zeus) running the 40 yard dash against each other. Most surprising was the result - DeAngelo smoked KJ, and shattered the VT 40 record. Why am I telling you this? Because when DeAngelo was a not very heralded junior in high school, he came to VT's camp, and was described by the coaches as the best athlete they had ever seen at a VT camp. They offered him, he committed, and received little fanfare nationwide in the recruiting services. Yet, today, he smoked the most heralded recruit in VT history. I continue to be impressed by the VT coaches' eye for talent. Keep this in mind when you watch the career of Rodney Kinlaw unfold - the coaches said that he was the best prospect bar none at the VT camp this past year.
