I disagree...there are moving pieces that have to be in place before things start....you are saying we go to war before an agreement w/Turkey, diplomatic mess is sorted out one way or another (big meeting next week), and army units have landed abroad? We going to start bombing with UN inspectors still in Iraq? These things don't fall in the dis-information category..

I don't see any way these issues get wrapped before next week- but if they do, we'll know we are much closer (within days)

Freep, 93152 SnP 500 calls vs. 79077 SnP 500 puts as of 3:00 as per the CBOE site.

I do not know if it means anything but I have noticed that the p/c on these is usually over 1 and quite often WELL over 1. Heck, I can remember it being over 2 and over 3 a few times. It is just in the last few weeks or so that I have noticed index p/c ratios under 1. I may be completely wrong on this as it is just on casual observation.
