They are pegged at 8 to 1 so they have actually had a decrease in profits in China. When the US dollar decreased in value to other currencies China being pegged to the dollar profits less.

If it was not for that "left over Chinese merchandise" costs in the US would have risen through the roof and Wally-World would have gone down the tubes.

BINGO!! You caught the magic ring again. Three Kudo's from me to you. That is what happens when we have a government that creates a strong dollar policy above all else. Started under Clinton and Rubin. Do you see why I dislike him even more that GB? I never cared what he got in the oval office, but could not stand what he was doing to the US. Bush is continuing it because he thinks it works. What dufuses!!
