Sorry, no comment. Like I said, majority of these guys were serf owners, and they lost all their slaves and fortune after they exile, so I do not expect they have anything objective to say.

BTW, I may add one point: It is Dalai Lama who refused to talk to Chinese gov., not the other way round.

On visiting Tibet, no, you do not have to go to Tibet. A lot of Tibetans live in SiChuan, GanSu and QingHai province. Like that world-famous JiuZhaiGou-HuangLong National Park, 90% of their locals are Tibetans.
