You didn't respond to my analogy that saying you have the right to check out but can't have medical help doing it is similar to saying you have the right to an abortion but can't have medical help doing it. In either case, it is possible to do it by yourself, but the risks of screwing it up and making things worse for yourself, not better, are strong in both cases. I agree completely with your statement that " I do not think we need use heroic means to maintain life, but I also do not think people should be pressured to die."
